How to make long distance phone calls to Vietnam

* Dial exit code:  From the US and Canada, the exit code is 011

* Dial the country code:  For Vietnam, it's 84

* Additional step for desk phones in Vietnam:  Dial 3 (newly enforced in early 2009)

* Dial area code (1-3 digits), without the 0 prefix

* Dial phone number (5-7 digits)
